He was predeceased by: his parents, George Welty and Leona Welty (Matzner); and his son-in-law Tim Brown. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Beezley of Kearney; his daughters, Kim Panowicz (Mark) and Peggy Brown of Kearney; his grandchildren, Alex Panowicz of Kearney, Nicholas Schommer III (Krisondra) of Nebraska City, Sierra Hernandez of Kearney, Katy Wiemers (Christian) of Kearney and Jessica Brown of Kearney; his great grandchildren, Stetson Schommer of Lincoln, Colt Schommer of Nebraska City, Maleigha of Kearney, Brantley of Kearney, Maia of Kearney, Brady Burzine of Kearney, Mia of Kearney, Ezra Hernandez of Kearney, Seras Wiemers of Kearney and Ahren Brown of Kearney; and his brothers, Gary Welty (Connie) and Dan Welty. He is also survived by numerous other extended family members and friends.
