He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Peterson and Thelma Peterson (Young); his parents-in-law, Emil and Fern Pazdernik; his sisters, Janice Reiter (Darrel) and Marilyn Drew (Kenneth); his brother-in-law Max Drew; and his niece Sheree Ott.
He is survived by: his wife Loris Peterson; his children, Gail Kegley (Alan) of Kearney, Kim Kinnan (Byron) of Lincoln, NE and Rex Peterson (Shari) of Riverdale; his grandchildren, Joshua Kegley (Karin) of Elkhorn, Ryan Kegley (Emily) of Kearney, Briar Jensen (Wade) of Colorado Springs, CO, Jordan Cochran (Brian) of Kearney, Zachary Peterson (Jason Soukup) of Lincoln, Cole Peterson (Blair) of Riverdale and Nolan Peterson (Kendall) of Austin, TX; his great grandchildren, Hunter Osentowski, Huston, Elle, Hendrex Cochran, Cruz, Drake, Blaise Peterson, Everett, Henry Kegley and Connor Kegley; and his siblings-in-law, Alda Drew and Alan Pazdernik (Loretta). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church or Habitat for Humanity in Kearney.
