She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nellie Vanderford and William Vanderford; her spouse Merv; her children, Roger Schliefert of Grand Island, Doug Schliefert (Jodi) of Grand Island and Linda Mousel (Kirby) of Central City; her grandchildren, Josh, Michael, Megan, Courtney, Chloe and Sarah; her sons, Dennis and David; and her former husband Mervyn. She was also cherished by five great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Kearney's First United Methodist Church, Habitat for Humanity, or the Grace Foundation.
