She was predeceased by: her parents, William Matthiessen and Adrienne Matthiessen; her brother William; her sister-in-law Florence Matthiessen; her nephew David Matthiessen; and her daughter-in-law Dana Meister.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Meister (Michelle) of Scottsbluff, Matthew Meister (Kim) of Kearney, Cindy Meister Diaz (Fred) of Euless, TX, Stephen Meister (Jodi Brooks) of Washington, DC and Jean Anderson (Scott) of Kearney; and her grandchildren, Jennie Kozal, Harry Meister, Gabe Meister, Becca Vossler, Abby McNeil, Molly Meister, Ryan Meister, Morgan Meister, Candice Grossman, Adam Bivens, Camille Diaz, Callie Diaz and Devin Anderson. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
