She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vernon Ray and Helen Hershberger (Hildebrand); her husband Richard Eugene Bush; her children, Stephen (Laura) of Kearney, Beth Ann Placek (Myron) of Omaha and Mark (Kim) of Kearney; and her grandchildren, Katherine Goodwin (Wade), Andrew Placek (Michelle), Cami Bush, Mark Placek, Mallory Loschen (Ben), Garrett Bush (Ashley), Megan Braden (Ty), Cori Kreutzer (Lydia) and Morgan Hubbard (Derek). She was also cherished by 13 great grandchildren.
They have also been supporters of UNK and have funded the Bush Family Athletic Scholarship Fund and are members of the University of Nebraska Foundation Board of Trustees.
