She is survived by: her husband Wayne Akert of Monument, CO; her son Mark Akert (Melissa) of Pearland, TX; her granddaughters, Audrey, Kayla, Nora and Ruby; her siblings, Sherry Maassen (Mick) of Mason City, IA, Rick Luth (Gwen) of Kearney, NE, Rhonda Stones (Ivan) of Kearney, NE, Mike Luth of Omaha, NE, Jeff Luth of Kearney, NE and Mary Anderson (Greg) of Littleton, CO; and her siblings-in-law, J. R. Akert (Nancy) and Jolene McGinnis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
