With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ardyce L. Nielsen of Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on May 11, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Keen and Imogene Keen (Conyers); her husband LaVern R. Nielsen; her daughter Kathleen Simpson; and her siblings, LaVern, Alvin, Harold, Larry (Lawrence) and Luella Albers.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Swanson of Kearney and Rodney Nielsen (Kathleen) of Kearney; her son-in-law Tommy Simpson of Omaha; her grandchildren, Rachaelle Simpson, Trish Simpson, Christopher Simpson, Clinton Nielsen, Crystal Nielsen, Karen Marsh, Kellie Bodnar and Michael "Mike" Swanson; her great grandchildren, Carley Simpson, Cameron Simpson, Dylan Engler, Sydney Safarik, Jordan Simpson, Kadyn Simpson, Harlow Simpson, Bronson Marsh, Breanna Marsh, McKayla Bodnar, Skylar Sevener, Preston Shumate and Addison Swanson; her great great grandchildren, Wyatt Engler, Odin Simpson, Lily Saathoff, Gracie Robinson and Ryker Sevener; and her brother Herman LeRoy Keen. She is also survived by relatives and close friends.
