He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leroy and Madalane Anderson (Heflin); his wife Barb; and his siblings, Diane Scheierman, Martha Delgado, Max and Andy Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Price (Joe) of Hastings, Nebraska, Jackie Rozmiarek (Rick) of Harvard, Darren Forbes (LaVeta) of Juniata and Farrin Forbes of Hastings, Nebraska; his siblings, Maxine Watson of Hastings, Nebraska, Norm Anderson (Nancy) of Hastings and Troy Anderson (Deb) of Polk, Nebraska; and his siblings-in-law, Caroline Anderson, Sue Anderson and Harold Scheierman. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established by the family for later designation.
