He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Burr and Leda Burr (Hinrikus); his granddaughter Ashton Burr; his brother Dick Burr; his nephew Dan Burr; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Wadman and Delmer Bockstadter.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Uden; his children, Melanie Gangwish (Arlen) of Shelton, Marcy Jacobsen of Omaha and Mark Burr (Marcy) of Juniata; his grandchildren, Jason Ebner Jeff (Mitch), Gangwish Jena Morgan Kelsey (Bo), Brisbin Justin Burr Gabrielle (Jamie) and Caleb Jacobsen (Kristina); his siblings, David Burr (Janet), Joan Bockstadter and Linda Wadman; and his sisters-in-law, DeAnn Burr, Rosie Schroeder (Leonard) and Alice Goodman (Mike).
Memorials may be given to the Lutheran Hour, Orphan Grain Train or the Christ Lutheran Church, Juniata.
