He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Eckhardt and Karen Eckhardt (Riese); his daughter Heather Jo Kothe-Eckhardt; his grandparents, Pearl, Dorothy Eckhardt, LaVern and Lorraine Riese; his siblings-in-law, Karl, Louise Kothe and Donna Kothe; and his uncle Dennis Riese.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Kothe; his grandchildren, Xavier, Sadie, Vincent, Lyric, Essynce, D'Vyne, Landon and Laramie; his great grandchild Ivy; and his sister Angie (Brad Thomsen).
Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
