He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Helvey and Adelaide Helvey (Naviaux); his parents-in-law, Anita White (Cordes) and Morris White; and his brothers-in-law, Con Ogden and Don White.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean of Johnson Lake; his children, Dori Moomey (Travis) of Kearney, Dr. Jason Helvey (Sarah) of Omaha and Carmen Pleskac (Steven) of Fremont; his sister Marjorie Ogden of Littleton, CO; his grandchildren, Hallett (Sophie Moomey), Phillip Moomey, Jillian Moomey, Camille Moomey, Marigold Helvey, Marley Helvey, Wesley Pleskac, Lucia Pleskac, Jaxon Pleskac, Derek Pleskac and Rosalie Pleskac; his niece Laurie; his nephew Brett; and his aunt Mary Helena Naviaux. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
