It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Christine Williams of Johnson Lake, Nebraska, born in Goodrich, Texas, who passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley Broman and Sara Broman (Cumings); her husband Bill Williams; her siblings, Ellen Johnson and Carl Broman; her sister-in-law Marge Broman; and her stepdaughter Cindy.
She is survived by: her daughter Chris Fread (David) of Lexington; her stepdaughter Pat Rimpley (Todd) of Lexington; her grandchildren, JB Houlden (Nikki) of Omaha, Angie Lawn (Chris) of Sugar Grove, IL, Sam Fread (Chelsea) of Kearney, James Leibhart (Hannah Blum) of Johnson Lake and Rachael Watts (Joseph) of Lincoln; her great grandchildren, William Houlden, Jaxton Watts, Merric Watts, Kimber Fread and Brixxon Fread; and her brothers, Melvin Broman (Lois) of Fairbury and Arthur Broman of Holdrege. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home (106 W 8th St, Lexington, NE 68850). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calendar First United Methodist Church (201 E 8th St, Lexington, NE 68850).
