He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Ottemann and Laura Ottemann (Volker); his brother Leroy; and his grandsons, Kadan DeBuse and Nicholas Rathbone.
He is survived by: his wife Deb Hicks (Keller) of Johnson Lake; his children, Amy DeBuse (Todd) of Lincoln, Renae Ernesti (Andy) of Columbus, Kurt Ottemann (Leslie) of Lincoln, Brian Keller (Jennifer) of Kearney and Aaron Keller (Molly) of Omaha; his grandchildren, Erika, Kyra, Cassie, Cevahn, Easton, Carter, Blake, Finn, Ava, Kendall, Leo, Ellie, Kylie, Logan, Quinten and Emma; and his siblings, Dale Ottemann (Pam) of Johnson, Pauline Zoucha (Gary) of Lincoln, Darlene Beethe (Lavon) of Elk Creek, Martha Armknecht (Gary) of Russellville and Pam Mitchell (Steve) of Burchard. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
