He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his parents, Clayton Ransdell and Melrose Ransdell (Young); his brother Darrell Trautman; and his brother-in-law Robert Ransdell.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene of Lexington; his children, Kerry Trautman, Cathy Sarnes (Scott) of Lexington and Joni Bennett (Ed) of Lincoln; his stepchildren, Rod Hennek (Lynne) of Atlanta, Tom Hennek of Providence, Kris Strohmyer (Randy) of Gothenburg, Jayne Meyer (Mark) of Kearney, Patty Mandelko (Mike) of Lexington and Mary Hofferber (Scott) of Tucson; his niece Susan Hartman (Wes) of Montrose; and his nephew Don McKean of Lewellen. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen step-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
