He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Fred and Lucille Ostgren (Burger); and his children-in-law, Mary Ostgren and Hain Manning. He is survived by: his wife Maralyn of Fairbury; his children, Michael of Derby, KS, Becky Manning of North Platte, Mark (Debbie) and Brent of Wichita, KS; his grandchildren, Jordan Ostgren of Colorado Springs, CO, Clayton Manning (Tiffany) of North Platte, NE, Sara Brooke (Jeremy) of Lincoln, NE, Aaron Manning of Lincoln, NE, Matthew Manning (Kelly) of Lincoln, NE, Russell Flinn (Blair) of Austin, TX, Alisha Doan (Kenny) of Wichita, KS and Eric Ostgren of Schoefield Barracks, HI; and his sisters-in-law, Mildred Brott and Sally Krause. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to LCMS Mission Central, Mapleton, IA.
