He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben L. Gibson and Avalene F. Gibson (Byrd); his son Douglas; his siblings, Doris Huber (Joe) of Seward and Francis; his brother-in-law Ernest Pracheil; his parents-in-law, Emanuel and Nettie Cerveny; and his siblings, Blaine (Elsie Huss), Ray (Marie Snyder), Marilyn Cerveny and Harold Keilwitz.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley M. Cerveny; his daughter Sharon Ebke (Jerry) of Fairbury; his grandchildren, Mitchell Ebke (Jenny) of Roca, Anne Chappell (Kipp) of Fairbury and Jill Duell (Ryan) of Lincoln; his great grandchildren, Beckett, Grady Chappell, Avery, Peyton, Harper, Cohen Ebke, Rex and Cecila Duell; and his siblings-in-law, Nyla Keilwitz of Gilead and Junior Cerveny of Fairbury.
