It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darold E. Schmidt (Jansen, Nebraska), who passed away on September 25, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Schmidt and Ilda Schmidt (Sellenrick); his wife Lillian Hohensee; and his daughter Janet. He is survived by: his son David Schmidt of Plymouth; his granddaughter Christina Swenson (Jeff) of Lincoln, NE; and his stepgranddaughter Jackie Nemechek (Jerimiah) of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials will go to Zion Lutheran for future designation.
