He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Saunders and Luella Saunders (Peterson); his siblings, Shirley Cook (Richard), Janet Saunders-Kern and Kirk Saunders; and his parents-in-law, Marguerite and Alfred Brienzo.
He is survived by: his wife Tina Brienzo of Peter's Church; his sister Karen Oster (Rick); and his brothers-in-law, Terry Kern, Robert Brienzo (Corneisha) and Gary Brienzo (Ann).
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (119 E Elk St, Jackson, NE 68743). A vigil service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
