He is survived by: his spouse VaLoy Bensen; his son Jeff Lewon (Angela Chapman) of Jefferson, SD; his grandchildren, Midori and Malia Weinandt; his sister Doris Hinz (Ray) of Newcastle, NE; and his sister-in-law Mary Lewon of Laurel, NE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
