It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard C Johnson (Imperial, Nebraska), born in Orchard, Nebraska, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivar Jr. Johnson and Susie Johnson (Hasson); his siblings, Byron, Lucille and Nettie; and his brother-in-law Bob Willats.
He is survived by: his friends, Jess and Joyce Bernard; his wife Jean Johnson (Baldwin); his children, David Johnson (Jill Lee), Susan Goddard (Bart) and Carol Kunnemann (Marlon); his grandchildren, Alex, Kyle, Ayrika Johnson, Colton Lee, Zach Goddard, Elizabeth Landry (Jesse), Perry Vetter, Abbigail Vetter-Brown (Kendra), Sydney Vetter, Amber Alvarado (John), Miles Kunnemann and Kayla Washa (Ben); his great grandchildren, Marcus, Justin Landry, Dutton Vetter, Ellery Brabec, Evan, Emerson Alvarado, Olivia and Addi Washa; his sister Kathryn Willats; and his brothers-in-law, Burdette Bauerle and Clinton Nordhausen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
