He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Sheaffer and Anna Sheaffer (McVey); his wife June Blough; and his brother Kenneth. He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy (Norman Leithead) of Scottsbluff, NE, Cheryl (Paul Davis) of Casa Grande, AZ and Janet Sheaffer of Imperial, NE; his grandchildren, Tim Leithead of Bridgeport, NE, Sarah DiGiovannantonio (Joe) of Johnstown, CO and David Leithead (Megan) of Shawnee, KS; and his great grandchildren, Cassie, Lindsie, Cole, Logen, John, Amelia, Ainsly and Eleanor. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Congregational Church (370 Chadron Ave, Chadron, NE 69337).
