James Crabb Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Crabb in Imperial, Nebraska, who passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that James' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Crabb and Mary Crabb (Kennedy); his daughter Barbara Benson; his stepchildren, Charles Griess, Bernadine Johnson, Kathie Savage and Kristine Ahrens; and his sister AnnaMae Spears.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Caroll McAfoos and Merle Griess; his daughter Christine Aden; and his stepdaughter Vanetta Heikotter. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Liewer Funeral Home (75 E Wichita St, Wauneta, NE 69045).
