He was predeceased by: his parents, Linus "Jake" Welch and Elda Welch (Swanson); his son Rick Welch; his siblings, Dwight Welch and Beverly Claney; his sister-in-law Jean Welch; his nephew Jim Welch; his sister-in-law Connie (Ron Tellier); and his parents-in-law, Clayton and Iva Mae Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Meyer; his daughter Melissa Oamek (Josh) of Fort Calhoun, NE; his brother Don Welch of Imperial; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Meyer (Lynn) of Imperial and Elvina Hiatt (Dale) of Carrollton, TX. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
