He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Bernard and Ethel Bernard (Zarecor); his wife Peggy Bernard; his parents-in-law, Eugene and Ilene Miller; his sister Sheryl Janousek; his brothers-in-law, Richard Els and Al Voge; and his grandson Kaleb Sis.
He is survived by: his children, Michele Stryker (Patrick) of Stockbridge, GA., Tonya Fagot (Jason) of Lexington, Chad Bernard (Zoe) of Colorado Springs, Travis Bernard (Sabrina) of Benkelman and Shawn Bernard (Karly) of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Zachary Sis, Alyssa Raymer, Tessa Sis, Colton Sis, Ethan Sis, Trey Fago, Brady Fago, Ashley Fago, Jacob Bernard, Maizi Bernard, Maddox Bernard, Therran Bernard, Briahana Schwarz, Bianca Bernard, Leila Bernard, Tristauna Bernard and Levi Bernard; his great grandchildren, Ayden Raymer, Avery Raymer, Addilyn Rose and Grayson Sis; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Els of Benkelman, Becky Brown of Benkelman, Jyl Voge of Lincoln and Larry Janousek. He is also survived by 5 children, 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
