She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Porter (Bud) and Lucille Porter (Barnes); her husband Jerry Carson; her siblings-in-law, Gerald and Mabelle Carson; her siblings, JoAnn Cheney, Ed Porter and Peggy Lee Porter; and her nephews, Michael Porter, Doug Porter and David Cheney.
She is survived by: her children, Stuart Morgan (Leah) and Becky Carson; her grandchildren, Ashley Dowhower (Tim), Ben Carson (Haley), Jera Werner (Tyler) and Page Dahlgren (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Molly Carson, Owen Smith and Baby Dahlgren; and her sisters-in-law, Pat Porter and Lois Hampton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
