He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hebbert and Ima Fern Hebbert (Shepard); his son David; his son-in-law Mick Knott; his grandchildren, Michael Knott and Tessa Wilson; and his siblings, Gene Hebbert and Pinky Clemens.

He is survived by: his wife Merla Lenore Rex; his daughters, Toni Knott of Arthur, Terry Wilson of Hastings, Cheryl Sheets (Jim) of Mullen and Tami Taylor (Pat) of Seneca; his daughter-in-law Mickie Hebbert of Hyannis; his grandchildren, Matthew Hebbert (Lacy), Jake Hebbert, Joshua Hebbert, Sami Knott, Jennie Dyer (Dan), Jessie Knott, Chelsie Wilson, Randi Jensen (Mark) and Travis Sheets (Randus); his brothers, Roger Hebbert and Gary Hebbert (Charlene); his brother-in-law Jerome Clemens; and also, Merle and Opal Rex. He is also survived by grandkids and one great-great grandson.
