He was predeceased by: his wife Patti; his siblings, Edgar and Leona Griepentrog; his brothers-in-law, Bill Griepentrog and Jerry Lewis; his son-in-law Gary Sweeney; and his grandson Daniel Sweeney.
He is survived by: his spouse Patricia Lewis; his children, Nanci Nathan of San Diego, CA, Lori Frauendorfer of Madison and Traci Sweeney of Dalzell, SC; his grandsons, Jerimie Frauendorfer, Adam Nathan, Joshua Nathan, Jason Frauendorfer, Chad Nathan, Tim Nathan, Ben Nathan, Nathan Frauendorfer and Matthew Sweeney; and his sisters-in-law, Laverne Herbolsheimer and Becky Lewis. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
