He was predeceased by: his parents, Montra Jones and Dorothy Jones (Tacha); his brother Jay Jones; and his grandson George "Boomer" Shewey. He is survived by: his wife Janiece Jones of Humboldt; his daughters, Jamie Chapman (David) of Hoxie, KS, Kathy Curfman of Humboldt and Veronica Tomasello (Fred) of Newton, KS; and his brother John Jones (Mickie) of Hutchison, KS. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family with a later designation.
