It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ardise Louise Jurgens of Humboldt, Nebraska, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Moyer and Mabel Moyer (Snell); her husband Gehde Jurgens; her siblings, Leroy, Elton, Bernus Moyer and Rosella Naber; and her great grandchild Reed Liam Griffin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lois Luthy (Reece) of Humboldt, NE, Linda Stinson (Floyd) of Elk Creek, NE, Laura Bernadt (David Boughton) and Loretta Dietz (Matt Hilgenkamp); her brother Kieth Moyer of Humboldt; and her sister-in-law Jane Uhri of Colorado. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren, many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Wherry Mortuary (207 Nemaha St, Humboldt, NE 68376). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (948 Central Ave, Humboldt, NE 68376). A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Home Cemetery (408 N. 33rd Street, Beatrice, NE 68305).
Memorials contributions may be given to family's choice with a later designation.
