He was predeceased by: his parents, Lambert Pekarek and Ludmila Pekarek (Malena); and his former wife Janet Tomka of Dodge. He is survived by: his wife Val Dirkschneider of Howells; his children, Brian (Donna), Michael (Nicole) and Ciarra of North Carolina; his granddaughters, Pam Toelle (Brad) of Texas and Rebecca Rice (Curtis) of Texas; his son Reece; his sister Marcheta Molacek; and his stepchildren, Rod Dirkschneider (Regina) of Howells, Lisa Bayer (Russ) of Howells and Sandy Muhle (Paul) of Columbus. He is also survived by many step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
