It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Brester of Howells, Nebraska, who passed away on August 26, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Brester and Mary Brester (Krienert); his wife Dorothy Cakl; and his siblings, George Brester (Catherine), Joseph Brester (Mary), Bernadine Renner (Leo) and Odelia Faltys (James).

He is survived by: his sons, Mark of Howells, Dean of Howells and Mike of Tennessee; and his sister-in-law Delma Brester of Howells. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
