It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Balzer of Howells, Nebraska, born in Beemer, Nebraska, who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Marx and Esther Marx (Mahnke); her parents-in-law, Henry and Alice Balzer; and her brothers-in-law, Ken Karel and Adrian Horak.
She is survived by: her husband Hank Balzer; her children, Wes Balzer of Howells, NE and Kim Heimann (family: Luke Hegemann) of Howells, NE; her grandchild Kezly; her son Jon (Brandy Balzer, family: Rylee, Jordyn, Birkley Balzer); her brothers, Gale, Vonita Marx and Rick Marx of Pilger, NE; her sisters-in-law, Vera Karel and Alice Horak of Clarkson, NE; and her niece Gloria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
