He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hegemann and Julia Hegemann (Vogel); his wife Marlene Krupka; his daughter Theresa; his sister Mildred Dostal (Lumir); his mother-in-law Philomena "Minnie" Krupka (Gall); and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Krupka (Helen), Larry Krupka, Larry Lund and Gail Krupka.
He is survived by: his children, Russell, Bruce Hegemann (Manuela) of Colorado Springs, CO, Cheryl Molacek (Wayne) of Howells and Russ Hegemann of Schuyler; his grandson Ryan Molacek of Howells; his parents-in-law, Joseph Krupka (Toni) of Plattsburg, NY, Melvin Krupka (Mag) of St. Helena, CA, Richard Krupka (Vi) of Schuyler, Ronald Krupka (Mary) of Rapid City, SD, Duane Krupka of Pahoa, HI, Kenneth Krupka (Vicky) of Beemer, Eugene Krupka (Karen) of Fremont, Raymond Krupka (Lynda) of Naverra, FL and Glenn Krupka of Sioux Falls, SD; and his sister-in-law Mae Lund of West Point. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
