Delma J Brester Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delma J Brester of Howells, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Delma J Brester to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alois John Heimann and Marie Ann Heimann (Bayer) of Henry's Community; her husband Leander; her grandson Jay Thomas McKern; and her siblings, Kenneth Heimann and Ardyce Luxa.
She is survived by: her children, Dave Brester (Martha) of Omaha, Tom Brester of Long Island, KS, Mary McKern (Rick) of Niceville, FL, Ann Ruzek (Joe) of Dodge, Pat Brester (Kathy) of Howells, Laurie Kaiser (Jeff Hart) of Lincoln and Lee Brester of Mesa, AZ.; and her siblings, Mel Heimann of Columbus and Arlene Langhorst of West Point. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the S. S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (112 6th St, Howells, NE 68641). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the Howells Catholic Social Hall (312 S 2nd St, Howells, NE 68641).
