We bid farewell to Betty Ann Andersen of Hoskins, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 11, 2025 at the age of 91. Betty Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Carl and Meta Dora Sophia Voss (Koepke); her husbands, Dean Allvin and Marvin Andersen; her grandson Christopher Andersen; her children-in-law, Mary Andersen and David Kohl; her siblings, George Voss (Beverly), Leo Voss (LaVila), Howard Voss (Billie), William Voss, Mike Voss, Loretta Voss, Lorraine Denklau (Wayne) and Margaret Kay (Don); her in-laws, Leonard Andersen (Dorothy Jo), Howard Andersen (Karlyne), Jean Andersen and Dorothea Jensen (Dewey); and her nephews, Tim Voss, Rick Kay and Bryan Denklau.
She is survived by: her children, Howard Allvin (Becky) of Kearney, Kevin of Norfolk, Gary (Carla) of Hadar, Linda Kohl of Hoskins and Betty Jo Deck of Crawfordsville, IN; her grandchildren, Alicia Allvin, Heather Allvin-Wick (Josh), Andrew Allvin, Karen Andersen, Jennifer Andersen-Gish (Eric), Pat Deck (Samantha) and Steve Deck; her children, Aubrey Deck, Brettney Deck-Asllani, Paisley Wick, McKinley Wick and Alexander Gish; and her grandchildren, Amelia Rose Asllani, Carter Asllani and Oakley Asllani. She is also survived by several nieces; nephews; and good neighbors.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (409 Miner St, Winside, NE 68790).
