He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Peters and Louise Peters (Weiland); his wife Phyllis Ranslem; his brother Aaron Peters; his grandson Nathan Peters; and his son-in-law Richard Grunke.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Peters (Joanna) of Council Bluffs, IA, Joe Peters (Candy) of Red Cloud, NE and Patty Grunke of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
