He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Krause and Lura Krause. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Dianna Spirk, Daniel Krause (Lauri) and Julie Krogh; his grandchildren, Stefanie (Joe Courtney), Shane (Marta), Jordan Spirk, Dale Krause, Rachel Mohr (Tyler), Christian and Christopher Krogh; his great grandchildren, Samuel, Benjamin, Gloria Spirk, Noah Krause and Adeline Mohr; his sister Joan Larson; and his sister-in-law Rosemary Gould. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to the Abu Bekr Shrine Transportation Fund, or to the United Methodist Church in Dakota City in Ronald's name.
