She was predeceased by: her son Derrick; her grandparents, Phillip, Eleanor Dowse, Wilson and Edith Richards; and her sister-in-law Vicki Whitten Dowse.
She is survived by: her husband Joe; her mother Joyce Cary of Callaway; her stepmother Sue Dowse of Comstock; her siblings, Lygia Dowse and Mike (Peggy Dowse) of Callaway; her nephew Anthony Dowse (Connie) of Surprise, AZ; her nieces, Kristi Madron of Charlotte, NC and Mindi Madron of Rogersville, MO; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tristan, Aiden, Xavier, Asher, Ethan, Alora and Evie; and her felines Minnie.
