He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Eckhardt and June Eckhardt (Hoffman); and his sister Judy Bolte. He is survived by: his sons, Mike Eckhardt (Suzanne) of Mankato, KS and Craig Eckhardt (Miki) of Holstein, NE; and his sister Carol George (Ron) of Eclectic, AL. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, family members, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
