He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Thiel and Jeane Thiel (Cooley); his grandparents, Dwight, Fannie Thiel, Claude and Pearl Cooley; his siblings, Karl, Jerry, Edward and Fanny Klein; his brother-in-law Dee LeFevre; and his nephews, Scott, Steve LeFevre and Ryan Thiel.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jim of Holstein, Michael of Aurora, CO, Dan (Monnica) of Wellington, CO, Bonnie LeFevre of Hastings, DeeAnn Krysl (Ron) of Atkinson, Terry Nabower (James) of Holstein, Cheryl Turner of Westminster, CO, June Stark of Littleton, CO and Jane Brennfoerder of Littleton, CO; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Thiel of Hastings, Sharon Thiel of Grand Island, Dorothy Thiel of Trumbull, Shirley Mommsen of Grand Island and Dan Klein of Roseland. He is also survived by 38 nieces and nephews; and many, many great and great-great nieces and nephews, friends and extended family.
