He is survived by: his parents, Verl Nelson and Rosemary Nelson (McHargue); his former wife Jodi Nelson (Brabec); his daughters, Kassie Cote (Adam) and Khyla Nelson; his grandchildren, Connor, Otto, Jocelyn, Aurora Cote, Robyn and Oliver Nelson; his brother Todd Nelson (Valerie); his sister-in-law Lesli Lenners (Chris); his nieces and nephews, Zachary Nelson, Bailey Bowhay (Jace), Drew Hubka (Mallory) and Ellison Lenners; his friends, Jason and Ally Kreft; and also, Logan, Rylie and Judson.
A memorial has been established to the family's choice with the funeral home in charge.
