We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2020, at the age of 82, Wayne A Nelson (Holdrege, Nebraska) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Nelson and Grace Nelson (Johnson); his grandson Nolan Joe Nelson; his brother George Nelson; his parents-in-law, Oscar and Agnes Alm; and his sister-in-law Karen Alm.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Nelson of Holdrege; his children, Jolene Nelson of Holdrege and Paul Nelson (Gayle) of Holdrege; his grandchildren, Dylan Paul, Brooklyn Sue, Jaclyn Ann and Collin Li of Holdrege; his siblings, Lenore Weber (Jim) of Guide Rock, Nebraska and Richard Nelson (Cindy) of Superior, Nebraska; and his siblings-in-law, Susie Nelson of Summerfield, Florida, Marge Alm of Holdrege and Philip Alm of Cambridge, Minnesota. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to health concerns, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic; current CDC and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for Faith-Based Services will be followed.
A memorial has been established in Wayne's honor, and kindly suggested to Holcomb Evangelical Free Church; the Christian Homes Care Community; or to the donor's choice.
