It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley F. Burgeson of Holdrege, Nebraska, born in Arapahoe, Nebraska, who passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Burgeson; her sister Barbara Sander (Bill); and her siblings-in-law, John Burgeson (JoAnne) and Dee Hock (Dean). She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Rietema (Dave) of Thornton, Colorado, Jeff Burgeson of Holdrege and Brent Burgeson of Holdrege; her grandson Luke Rietema of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her children, Tate Reitema of Thornton, Britani Brown (Eric) of Holdrege and Jalen Burgeson of Franklin, Nebraska; her great grandchildren, Haizel and Eloise Brown; and her brother Craig Tate (Anita) of Lincoln, Nebraska. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial has been established in Shirley's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for future designation.
