She was predeceased by: her parents, John Willis and Flossie Willis (Wilson); her husband Robert Allen Barto; her sons, Joseph Barto and Douglas Barto; and her siblings, Richard Willis, Perry Willis, Robert Willis, Arbutus "Boots" Reiss, Sandra Willis, Mary Elizabeth Willis, Ethel Elaine Willis, Audrey Porter (Harry) and Josephine Carpenter (John).
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Barto (Bobbie) of Elm Creek, Nebraska, James Barto of Wilcox, Nebraska and Timothy Barto (Cindy) of Kearney, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Tabitha Burns (Ryan) of Norton, Kansas, Jesse Barto (Barbara) of Hastings, Nebraska, Justin Barto (Ashley) of Holdrege, Emilee of Kearney and Alexander Barto of Kearney; her great grandchildren, Dominick, Alexander, Veronica Martindale and Harvey Barto; and her siblings, John Willis of Wellington, Kansas and Kathleen Carpenter (William) of Holdrege. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home (401 Burlington St, Holdrege, NE 68949). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
