It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sheryl S. Vollertsen of Holdrege, Nebraska, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Neujahr and Thelma Neujahr (Brennan); her husband Roger Leroy Vollertsen; and her brother-in-law Don Hauptman. She is survived by: her children, Rod Vollertsen of Holdrege and Cathy Vollertsen (David Williams); her sister-in-law Nancy Hauptman of Juniata, Nebraska; her nephews, Matt (Tiffany Hauptman) and Marshall (Gina); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lillian, Landon and Andi Hauptman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Sheryl's honor, and kindly suggested to Rodney Lee Vollertsen's Supplemental Needs Trust.
