He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Walter Reiner and Margaret Reiner (Borg); his grandson Arlow Reiner; his sister Margaret Ann Monk; his father-in-law Dr. Edgar Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Charles Krobot and Kimberly Bacon.
He is survived by: his wife Lori Lynn Hobbs of Holdrege; his children, Stefanie Carlstedt (Dan) of Omaha, Scott Reiner (Amber) of Eagle, ID, Alex Hobbs (Erin) of Overland Park, KS and Dr. Melissa O'Neill (Kyle) of Anchorage, KY; his grandchildren, Aubrey, Kailynn, Rylan and Jaxon Carlstedt; his children, Landon, Sydney Hobbs, Meadow Reiner, Murphy and Hollis O'Neill; his siblings, Mary Ellen Krobot of Omaha, Robert Reiner of Minneapolis, MN, Lisa (Jeff Strohmyer) of Papillion and Dr. Ross Bacon (Leah Johnson) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his parents-in-law, Carol Smith of Omaha and Dr. David Bacon (Phyllis) of Kearney.
