Richard Bourelle Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2024, at the age of 85, Richard Bourelle of Holdrege, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Bourelle and LaRena Bourelle (Burklund); his grandsons, Kelly Hupka and Mitchell Hupka; his brother Larry Bourelle; his son-in-law Eugene "Gene" Brown; his brother-in-law Keith Ziems; and his nephew Jeff Bourelle.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Bourelle of Holdrege; his daughters, Dawn Marlett (Doug) of Hays, Kansas, Tami Brown of York, Nebraska and Sonja Taylor (Brian) of Holdrege; his grandchildren, Derek Marlett of Hays, Tara Marlett (Austin Payne) of Fairview, Oregon, Kacie Castillo (Dennis), Dustin Brown of York, Kaela Brown of Lincoln, Nebraska and Amanda Hill (Nolan) of Hill City, Kansas; his great grandchildren, Nikkolas, Emma, Gracie, Izabella, Huntleigh, Weston, Lukus, Konner and Raigen; his sisters, Betty Winkelmann (Louis) of Holdrege and Polly Ziems of Kearney, Nebraska; and his sister-in-law Sharon Bourelle of Stromsburg, Nebraska. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home (401 Burlington St, Holdrege, NE 68949). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at the Prairie Home Cemetery (2221 18th Ave, Holdrege, NE 68949).
A memorial has been established in Rich's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for future designation.
