It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis G. Silverberg of Holdrege, Nebraska, who passed away on May 6, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Holen and Grace Holen (Anderson); and her siblings, Marlys Nelson (Ron) and Kent Holen. She is survived by: her husband Norris Silverberg of Holdrege; her children, Ann Larson (Jim) of Papillion, Nebraska and Gregg Silverberg of Lincoln, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Mark Larson (Ashley) of Lincoln and Bethany Schlegel (Greg) of Grand Island, Nebraska; her great grandchildren, Lily, Sam and Liam Larson; her grandchildren, Lucy and Levi Schlegel; and her brother-in-law Richard Silverberg (Betty) of Columbus, Nebraska. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends.
It was Phyllis's desire that no flowers be given; but that in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be given in her honor to the Bethel Lutheran Church.
