She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Lerdall and Dorothy Lerdall (Pittenger); her brother Dennis (Lila); her niece Kathryn Lerdall; and her cousin Dianna Krumme.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Moore (Jeff) and Mindi Young; her grandchildren, Madelyn of Holdrege, Jaren Moore of Holdrege, Noah of Holdrege, Aidan of Holdrege and Collin Young of Holdrege; her brother Terry Lerdall (Susie) of Elwood; her niece Jen Austin; her friend Angela Farber of Frisco, TX; her pets, Gizmo and Emmy; her close friend Koby Quintana (Rifka) of Holdrege; her friend Vicki Vinzant of Shelton, Nebraska; and her caregiver Christy Pelton of Bertrand, NE. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church (1419 East Ave, Holdrege, NE 68949). The inurnment was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Elwood Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in Karen's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for future designation.
