It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Thalken of Holdrege, Nebraska, who passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Thalken and Dolores Thalken (Bruns); and his brother Bill Thalken. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Thalken of Holdrege; his son Mark Thalken (Katie) of Omaha, Nebraska; his grandson Edward Thalken of Omaha; his siblings, James Thalken (Diana) of Columbus, Nebraska, Tom Thalken of Omaha, Carol Bruner of Omaha and Conne Thalken of Atlanta, Georgia; and his sister-in-law Mary Kay Thalken of Omaha. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
